Dedicated to Your Smile

John Bennion, DDS, MD

I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I have a dental degree and practiced general dentistry after graduating from dental school at the University of Nebraska. After three years I returned to school and received an MD degree and completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. I am licensed in both medicine and dentistry and board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I have practiced in Billings for thirty three years. My practice included the full scope of oral surgery including facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, pathology, extractions and dental implants. The implant practice grew to be one of the largest in Montana.

One of the most satisfying parts of my practice has been the ability to offer the full range of oral surgery services from the very high end with implants and complete restoration of patients’ smile and function to the very simple treatments like extracting teeth that are beyond repair and are causing great pain. I have worked with the Donated Dental Services throughout my time in practice to donate my services to patients who do not have the financial ability to pay. For my entire time in practice I have been a provider for Medicaid to make my services available to patients who are struggling to make ends meet.

Dr. Kenny Clow, DDM

Following dental school, Dr. Kenny continued his training with an additional residency program where he focused on advanced treatment, hospital care, sedation, surgery and dental implants. He has hundreds of hours of additional education heavily focused on full mouth implant procedures.

He has also completed additional specialized training in advanced implants such as zygomatic, pterygoid, intra-nasal, trans-sinus and palatially placed implants and has completed several thousand surgeries. He has traveled the world learning these advanced techniques and travels the country as an advanced surgery expert who mentors other implant surgeons through challenging cases.

While Dr. Kenny often sees the most difficult cases, you will still find him laughing and joking with his patients to help ease their anxiety and make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone. His military background has helped him thrive in this challenging field as he works well under pressure and is extremely thorough. Dr. Kenny loves what he does and feels like you can never stop learning and bettering yourself. He enjoys volunteering his time and mission trips to underserved areas. You will also find him regularly attending national conferences and courses, as well as participating in local professional events in an effort to raise the quality of care.
